Amateur Radio Satellites in Schools and Colleges

Many places of education make use of amateur radio satellites as a vehicle for teaching space science, physics, and other subjects.

AMSAT UK can supply a copy of SPLOT software, which was originally written by the University of Surrey. It is now recommended by Salters Horners Advanced Physics A-level course to enable student to examine the telemetry from UOSAT-2. AMSAT-UK member Clive Wallis has devoted much time and effort to this satellite, and his web site contains much useful information. See http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/clivew/oscar11.htm. If you wish to obtain a copy of SPLOT, please see our shop pages.
